I’ve spent fifteen years building software that has to work under real load. At Gojek I helped build the first GoPay systems, worked on ride-hailing as it grew to three million completed orders a day, and led GoPay’s reliability team. Since then I’ve worked at Zalando and Timescale, and with startups as a freelancer.

I started Ensemma because coding agents have changed how fast software can be written, but not what makes it good. That still comes down to judgment: what to build now, what can wait, and where simple is enough.
